How Subscriptions Work?

Adding Products
When you add subscription products to your basket with the same delivery frequency, they will automatically be grouped into one subscription shipment.If products are selected with different delivery frequencies, they will be created as separate subscriptions and dispatched accordingly.

Recurring Orders
Your recurring order date is based on the date your subscription is first placed. For example, if you place your first subscription order on 12 May, your next recurring order will be generated on 12 June.Customers have the option to choose their preferred repeat order date from the customer portal.

Pausing Your Subscription
Subscriptions can be paused for one month or longer. Once paused, deliveries and billing will stop until the subscription is resumed.

Failed Payments
If a recurring payment cannot be processed for any reason, the order will not be created until payment is successfully completed. Customers may be notified to update payment details before the subscription can continue.

Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to recurring payments based on your selected delivery frequency.

- Subscription prices, products and availability may change over time.

100% Pure Honey

Unpasteurised, small-batch honeys capture the vibrant bloom of summer and the rare richness of botanicals such as Leptospermum.

The UMF rating is trademarked by distributors in New Zealand, however the density of Tregothnan’s honey indicates the high grade of Manuka within. Manuka honey is harvested from the hives by carefully extracting the multi-floral honey from the top layer, as the Manuka Honey is heavier and denser and sinks to the bottom, therefore separating itself from the multi-floral.

Product specifications

Tregothnan pioneered the cultivation of Manuka, Leptospermum scoparium, outside New Zealand, first introducing the species to the estate in the 1880s. These original plantings remain part of Tregothnan’s remarkable botanical heritage today.

During a visit from New Zealand television, there was some discussion about whether Manuka should be grown exclusively in New Zealand, and whether plants from these original introductions should be returned. The conversation took an interesting turn when it was pointed out that New Zealand’s Manuka honey industry relies on the European honeybee - a species introduced to New Zealand by the British. A fascinating piece of botanical history, connecting Tregothnan, Britain and New Zealand in rather unexpected ways.

Tregothnan’s tea bushes (Camellia sinensis) are often surrounded by Manuka plantations, in part to protect the tea from the prevailing wind and to provide a feast for bees in the unique deep valley estuarine microclimate. The Manuka bushes also thrive in the historic walled kitchen garden.
