1. Purpose

This Code of Conduct outlines the standards of ethical behaviour expected of all those who represent or work with Tregothnan. We aim to conduct our business with honour, integrity, and a deep respect for our heritage and the people we serve.

2. Who This Applies To

This Code applies to:

  • All Tregothnan staff and management
  • Contractors, partners, suppliers, and collaborators
  • Any individual representing Tregothnan in any capacity

3. Our Expectations

a. Integrity & Transparency
We act honestly and transparently in all business dealings. We avoid conflicts of interest, and we do not offer, give, or accept bribes or improper payments.

b. Compliance with Laws
We comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the UK and in any international markets in which we operate.

c. Sustainability & Stewardship
We are custodians of the land and environment. We expect environmentally responsible conduct from our employees and business partners, aligned with our sustainability values.

d. Confidentiality & Privacy
We protect confidential information and respect the privacy of our customers, colleagues, and partners.

e. Respect & Fair Treatment
We treat everyone with fairness, dignity, and respect — valuing diversity and promoting an inclusive workplace and business environment.

f. Safe & Ethical Working Environment
We maintain a safe, respectful, and harassment-free workplace. We report unsafe or unethical behaviour through appropriate channels.

4. Anti-Corruption & Gifts

Tregothnan maintains a zero-tolerance policy on bribery and corruption. Any gifts or hospitality must be modest, infrequent, and approved in accordance with our internal procedures.

5. Suppliers & Partners

We expect all third parties to act in line with this Code and our Human Rights Policy. Violations may result in review or termination of the business relationship.

6. Reporting Violations

Concerns or suspected violations of this Code may be reported confidentially to ethics@tregothnan.co.uk. All reports will be investigated promptly and without retaliation.
