Bulk Loose Tea

Fresh plucked tea from the fabulous first Spring flush is despatched every weekday from Tregothnan. The leaves are transported to you overnight ready for you to enjoy immediately or store for a few days in the refrigerator.

This decadent and delicious tea is lightly scented with the flowers from the tea bushes themselves, the rarest and most elegant varieties ever grown.
Enough to make tea for two and can be reinfused for additional cups. The vintage of Spring 2020 will come alive in your cup with this really unique tea style available for the first time in the west.
£92.50 per 12.5 grams lightly oxidised fresh single estate tea (equivalent to 2.5 grams of fully processed tea) direct from the gardens at Tregothnan.

About us

Rare plants have been nurtured by the same family at Tregothnan since 1334. The first tea was grown in the UK in 1999 to put the ‘English into English Tea’ and the most British tea in history was first sold in 2005.

Now, over 26 miles of tea bushes thrive in the unique microclimate, seven miles inland and with a deep-sea creek bringing regular fog. Manuka bushes have also thrived here since the 1880’s, the first grown outside of New Zealand and producing the most delicious honey.
