For one magical spring weekend, Tregothnan will open its private gates on the 18th and 19th April 2026.
Step into over 100 acres of Cornwall’s finest botanical garden, where sweeping vistas, peaceful riverside glades and hidden woodland paths await. Discover centuries-old Camellias, towering Magnolias and some of the largest Rhododendrons in the world, bursting into dramatic bloom. With so much to explore, there are quiet corners to pause and moments of discovery around every turn.
The historic Stable Yard comes alive with a fabulous food court, serving lunch, cream teas and refreshments, accompanied by entertainment throughout the weekend. Pop into the Tregothnan pop-up shop to browse premium teas and estate produce – perfect gifts to remember your day at Tregothnan.
Children aged 18 and under go free, making it the perfect family adventure in one of Cornwall’s most celebrated gardens.
Open from 10am – 5pm, with the last entry to the garden at 4pm.

When paying for tickets online, a confirmation email will be sent to you electronically. Please present this confirmation either on a mobile or printed at the gate to gain admission.

Are dogs welcome?
Yes! Dogs on leads are welcome in the gardens and stable yard.
Where is my ticket?
You won’t receive a physical ticket. Simply show your event confirmation email at the gate for entry.
Is the event supporting a charity this year?
Yes! Come along to meet and support our nominated charities for this year.
Is there disabled parking?
Yes. If you require disabled parking, please inform the car park stewards upon arrival, and they will direct you to the appropriate area.
Are the gardens suitable for wheelchairs?
Most of the garden is accessible via footpaths that are suitable for wheelchairs. However, please be aware that some areas may have loose gravel.
How do we get there?
Set your satnav to TR2 4AX and follow the one-way system in place. Our stewards will be on hand to guide you. Unfortunately the event cannot be easily accessed by public transport.
Is there parking available for large vehicles?
Yes. Please speak to one of our stewards when you arrive. A one-way system is in place, but do take care as some lanes can be narrow.
Can I refund or exchange my ticket?
Tickets are non-refundable. Once purchased, tickets cannot be cancelled or refunded.
