If you are choosing multiple trees, please add the quantity to the booking above.

You have the option to choose and tag your tree now for collection later, or take it home with you the same day. Please select which type of appointment you require so we can ensure a member of our woods team is available to assist you.

If you have already chosen your tree and are coming back to collect another day, please use the same booking link to make a collection appointment.

By booking your appointment you confirm you have read and understood the terms and conditions

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our visitors, please read the following terms and conditions carefully.

1. Bookings

  • Bookings are essential to manage visitor numbers and ensure the health and safety of our customers and staff.
  • Please arrive within your allocated time slot. Late arrivals may not be accommodated due to limited daylight hours.

2. Opening Hours

  • Our opening hours are strict and based on available daylight. Please check your confirmation details and allow plenty of time to choose your tree before closing.

3. Tree Tagging

  • Once your tree has been chosen, ensure your tag is secure and clearly visible.
  • Tregothnan cannot be held responsible for tags that are lost or damaged.
  • We recommend taking a photo of your tagged tree and noting its location for future reference.

4. Tree Cutting

  • For safety reasons, only Tregothnan staff are permitted to cut down trees.
  • Once you’ve chosen your tree, a member of staff will assist with cutting.

5. Dogs

  • Dogs on leads are welcome.
  • Please pick up after your dog. Uncollected waste poses a danger to local wildlife.
  • Owners are responsible for ensuring their dogs always remain under control.

6. Health & Safety

  • Be mindful of machinery and equipment in operation around the field.
  • Please wear appropriate footwear. The terrain may be uneven due to tree stumps.
  • Long-sleeved clothing is strongly advised due to the presence of deer ticks.

7. Weather Policy

  • Tregothnan reserves the right to cancel or postpone bookings if weather conditions are deemed unsafe for visitors or staff.
  • In the event of a cancellation, all affected bookings will be offered an alternative date to visit the field.

8. General Conduct

  • Visitors are asked to follow all instructions from staff to ensure everyone’s safety.
  • Please be respectful of the environment, wildlife, and other visitors at all times.
  • We understand that sometimes things change, therefore we kindly ask that you let us know if you wish to cancel your tagged tree.

Thank you for helping us make your Christmas tree experience safe and enjoyable. We look forward to welcoming you to Tregothnan and wish you a joyful festive season!

About us

Rare plants have been nurtured by the same family at Tregothnan since 1334. The first tea was grown in the UK in 1999 to put the ‘English into English Tea’ and the most British tea in history was first sold in 2005.

Now, over 26 miles of tea bushes thrive in the unique microclimate, seven miles inland and with a deep-sea creek bringing regular fog. Manuka bushes have also thrived here since the 1880’s, the first grown outside of New Zealand and producing the most delicious honey.
