The embargo is finally lifted today on some of the exciting plans for G7 World leaders to visit Cornwall!
Hosted by the UK in this most beautiful county, the G7 is one of the really important international events in any year. G7 Cornwall will be the first face to face meeting of this decade. Cornwall claims the best food and drink and is arguably the home of tourism itself. Fine Tregothnan tea will be offered to the delegates to experience the most British tea in history. Tregothnan Trading was set up with the brief to make its international headquarters in Cornwall and to trade globally. Tregothnan MD of Trading is thrilled with the G7 trading opportunities for local producers, having recently been awarded an OBE for services to International Trade and Commerce. Also, as chair of the Cornwall Agri-Food Council, Jonathon is ensuring that the very best of Cornish food and drink is showcased to the world and is already in discussion with representatives from Japan, India and the USA.
Many environmentally aware delegates will travel by train from London all the way to Carbis Bay and will enjoy Tregothnan tea on board, thanks to the long running commitment of GWR and the GREAT campaign. Tregothnan has many ancient environments in its care, some since 1334, as well as exciting new environmental initiatives. The environment is due to take centre stage and Tregothnan tenants, services and products will be a delight to share with the G7.
Watch out for more updates as the world prepares to visit Cornwall, both here and on television, twitter and Instagram. Some news will embargoed until critical dates.
