Difference between green and black tea?
Black ‘Classic’ tea has five main stages of processing: Pluck, wither, roll, oxidize, dry. The oxidation stage is missed out in the green tea production. The leaves could potentially come from the same bush.
The servings are sealed in loose tea pouches for ultra freshness, meaning your last serving of tea will be as fresh as your first! We have measured the perfect quantity of each tea and sealed in the ‘bush to cup’ freshness into airtight foil pouches. Easy to brew, just open the pouch and pour the contents into your tea infuser.
Add your desired amount of loose leaf tea into the metal infuser of the teapot – we recommend a heaped teaspoon for each person and an extra spoonful for the teapot! Place the infuser into the teapot.
Infuse for 2 to 4 minutes depending on how strong you like your tea – we recommend 3 minutes of infusion time before pouring.
Remove the infuser – the leaves will have expanded to three times their original size. If you would like further cups once the teapot is empty, simply replace the infuser with the same tea leaves and add more water.
