Indulge in this relaxing caffeine-free infusion of pure, English Chamomile – a golden yellow tea with a sweet earthy apple taste and aroma.

Grown and picked on the Tregothnan estate, this plant has been used for years as a medicinal cure-all to calm the mind, help flus, soothe digestive issues, and ease muscle stiffness and cramps. A mild sedative, it is fabulous to drink at night to encourage a better quality sleep.

Our Chamomile infusion includes stalk-on flowers. These are a wholefood which means that it has a more fulsome flavour – similar to Aloysia, the taste from the flower stem can be the most intense.

As it contains anti-inflammatory properties, try ringing your flannel out in our Chamomile infusion and leaving it on your face for a while – perfect for pepping up skin and relieving tired eyes!

Infuse for 3 to 5 minutes depending on how strong you like your tea – we recommend at least 4 minutes of infusion time before pouring. For a stronger flavour, the tea sachet can remain in the cup as you drink your brew. Chamomile should be served without milk and can be sweetened with sugar or honey.

For our loyal Chamomile fans, this is a bag of 100 foil wrapped sachets

About us

Rare plants have been nurtured by the same family at Tregothnan since 1334. The first tea was grown in the UK in 1999 to put the ‘English into English Tea’ and the most British tea in history was first sold in 2005.

Now, over 26 miles of tea bushes thrive in the unique microclimate, seven miles inland and with a deep-sea creek bringing regular fog. Manuka bushes have also thrived here since the 1880’s, the first grown outside of New Zealand and producing the most delicious honey.
