London Wreath Making Workshop – Shoreditch
Join us at our London Wreath Making Workshop in the Blue Patch Sustainable Pop-Up Department Store in Shoreditch. Everyone loves to hang a wreath over their mantelpiece or front door over the Christmas period, but few realise how enjoyable – and achievable it is to make your own. Making your own wreath is a wonderfully creative activity and a perfect way to get in the Christmas spirit.
Hosted by Carolyn Dunster, RHS award-winning planting designer and author of Urban Flowers, you will use fresh foliage cut straight from the gardens at Tregothnan in Cornwall and learn how to create your own festive centrepiece. Tregothnan’s British Floristry is committed reducing ‘flower miles’ by using flowers and foliage grown at Tregothnan or by British growers.
London wreath making workshop sessions will be held at the Blue Patch Sustainable Pop-Up Department Store at Espacio Gallery 159, Bethnal Green Road, London, E2 7DG. Blue Patch’s store will be sparkling with beautiful, ethically made products, creative workshops, breakfast talks, pamper nights, bubbly drinks, delicious cakes and late night shopping to 9pm. Buy organic wellbeing products, Fair Trade jewellery, ethical fashion, designer lighting, handmade furniture, ceramics, gifts and toys. Ethical Shopping – just in time for Christmas! As well as making a beautiful addition to your festive home, your handmade Christmas wreath would also make a unique present with the personal touch. They are also designed to keep fresh over the festive period, giving you one less thing to worry about when you plan your Christmas!
