Deliciously sweet and syrupy Cornish honey from the Tregothnan Estate. Our range of honeys are created by bees feeding on our diverse Cornish flora. Perfect with yogurt, on bread, or as a sweetener in Tregothnan Tea.
Our bees also feed on Manuka flowers, creating the most delicious and unique Manuka honey. Manuka or Leptospermum scoparium, a New Zealand native shrub that grows intermittently with other wildflowers in swathes of New Zealand. Tregothnan pioneered Leptospermum into cultivation in the 1880’s so our Manuka honey is extremely rare and totally exquisite.
Kea Plum Jam
Over 400 years ago, Kea plums were discovered growing beside a remote tidal creek on the Tregothnan estate. Unique to Cornwall, these plums exisit on just 20 acres of land along the banks of the river Fal in the village of Kea. Tregothnan is working to protect these ancient orchards and to secure Protected Designation of Origin status for the Kea plum species.
Our indulgently rich biscuits are perfect with afternoon tea. Baked in Cornwall and based on a 50 year old secret recipe from one of Tregothnan’s housekeepers, they are free from hydrogenated fats and contain wheat and milk from Tregothnan tenanted farms.
