Perfect birthday gift for a tricky to buy for teenager!

We first tried Tregothnan Great British tea at the Mereworth Winery Cafe where the friendly and helpful team told us a bit about the tea - my son took an interest and asked several questions, so we bought him some of the tea bags for his 13th birthday. He was so excited that some of the tea leaves were grown in England and declared these tea bags were his favourite birthday gift! Who knew that Tregothnan Great British Tea would be the perfect gift for a teenager!?!

Delicious

This is definitely the tastiest tea I have ever drunk. It's full-bodied, yet has wake-up edge to it that really revives me first thing in the morning.

About us

Rare plants have been nurtured by the same family at Tregothnan since 1334. The first tea was grown in the UK in 1999 to put the ‘English into English Tea’ and the most British tea in history was first sold in 2005.

Now, over 26 miles of tea bushes thrive in the unique microclimate, seven miles inland and with a deep-sea creek bringing regular fog. Manuka bushes have also thrived here since the 1880’s, the first grown outside of New Zealand and producing the most delicious honey.
