Garden Truro this week
9th July 2012
Come visit our English Country Garden stand at the Garden Truro festival which opens on Wednesday.
From 11th - 14th July, we will be exhibiting our flowers and foliage at the event, and Vanessa and Brian will be running live demos on how to make your own hand-tied bouquets, garlands and decorative trugs.

Here is some more details thanks to West Briton:
Nurseries including Trevena Cross, Burncoose, Tregothnan and Pencoose Market Garden – some fresh from exhibiting at the Chelsea Flower Show – will be bringing up to eight show gardens to Lemon Quay.
There will be talks from agricultural experts throughout the four days, along with creative activities, demonstrations and question and answer sessions.
Cornwall Bee Keeping Association will be in residence throughout the festival, along with Truro store Malletts Home Hardware, which will be providing an exhibition on how to grow herbs.
The festival is being put on by Truro City Council and Totally Truro Business Improvement District (BID). It aims to showcase the city's beautiful green spaces in the run-up to South West in Bloom and Britain in Bloom competitions.
Richard Budge, parks manager for Truro City Council, said: "It's been my ambition to bring a bit of the Chelsea Flower Show to Truro, and this is what we plan to achieve with Garden Truro.
"There will be beautiful show gardens to brighten up Lemon Quay plus fascinating talks from experts, including our own vice-chairman of the Truro in Bloom committee."
Neil Scott, BID manager, said: "Truro's parks and gardens are some of the city's real hidden gems, so we'll be bringing a piece of that out onto Lemon Quay."
The festival opens on Wednesday with show gardens on display, including children's miniature gardens and local produce for sale.
