Last Friday saw the Unlocking Cornish Potential Celebration Event at the Keay Theatre in St Austell. The prestigious awards welcomed more than 110 delegates from the business community and recognised the huge impact graduates have had in helping Cornish businesses to grow.
The event congratulated the 90 graduates who have recently completed a UCP graduate placement, and out of those talented young professionals, there were 21 shortlisted individuals across eight categories. We are proud to announce that our Marketing Executive Abby Keverne won the 'Best Marketing Strategy' award - a bespoke, hand-crafted trophy created by David Forsyth from Driftwood Surfboards.
Her project has been hailed a triumph for Tregothnan. In the past year, we've seen fantastic business growth, a successsful re-brand, inspiring email marketing campaigns and a great social media presence, as well as attending prestigious events and exhibitions, being featured widely in national media, and currently developing a new ecommerce website.
Abby said: "It is an absolute honour to be recognised for making a positive impact at Tregothnan. I’ve learnt so many new skills thanks to the outstanding mentors and training programmes that UCP has offered. Here’s to year two!"
